Connecting so many dots these days

I juggle them, carnival-style

--------------------------------------

--------------------------------------

Gonna bounce my bestest

Indellible dots

'Round right here

In permanent ink

----------------------------

For me

For you

For them

To catch

And to keep right on

Connecting.............

Fall Back Then Spring Forward

Okay, seems this year I missed my own memo.  Spring was definitely not cancelled and I was thinking (while wearing a tank top on my birthday!) I should post a few drive-by "bank temp" pics.  The digits and green grass would have nicely clashed last year's '"rear-view of March temp" image.  Alas, my spring is filled with career and clean-up and endless out-of-door play.  Keyboard time trumped.  Oh, and my camera has issues at the moment.  Fookin fone fotos. Just posted the un-rejected Maizy pics.

Anyhow, since I've now cited the past, guess I'll post a preview of a most-likely-distant-future-entry.  I got me a stellar new long-term project of the "summer fun" variety.  Can't wait for the day I can post the Grand Finale.  The mystery pics also serve as evidence of the unusual; lack of both snow and mud April 2010.

Craizy Maizy

Everything nice
Like sugar and spice
With bits of sticks and stones
Mixed in

No fear, this one
Wheels turn
Hear an engine
Run
For a ride
Arms wide

From Daddy
Goofy
Go-Lucky
Delight

From Momma
Dance moves
Dancing fingers
.... And spite

Curly and coy
Salty and sweet
No little boy
 Moves his feet that way

And one day soon
We'll learn what all
Our crazy lady
Has to say

Son So Bright

Warmest morning yet
Ready, set, go
To start up our day
Chose the lower highway
More trees and fun equipment to see

Momma, move the sun for me?

Oh honey
I can't move the sun
Try using your hands
To keep it from your eyes

Momma, look at me
Stopping sunshine
With my hands!

Then silence....
So unusual
My two
Who talk as much I do

Baby, what are you thinking about?

Dunno.....
Thinking about the sky is blue
The sun is bright
I see some clouds

Wow!
Hey, see that long
Skinny cloud over there?
It's actually a jet trail

Yes, it IS a jet trail!
It will follow us to Steve's house!

And so it did.

Kiddy Kabin Fever

Chattin' with "Giggle Baby" in dolly bed hand-painted by Gma Judy.

"Mommy look!  Birthday cake!"
"Awesome!  Who did you make it for?... Whose birthday party?"
" Pink cake for Maizy.  Candles a toppin!"

(play dough + garlic press)

Maizy hides her shy personality behind a faux fur collar.

He's learned how to shovel.  I'm thinkin he can put on the big boots and earn his keep!

Lil' Einstein.

"My future's so bright, I gotta wear shades."

....Must be the case, since the sun has been essentially M.I.A. since November!

Little Bits of Christmas

Christmas time.....
I'm never more reminded of how "big" my family is. Yeah, there are a lot of us, but I'm really talking about the vast importance of who we are to each other. I am designed, supported, encouraged and loved by my family. And we're multiplying!!

.... Speaking of which, the newer family additions won most of the spotlight here, only because they're just so friggin fun to look at!

Birth of a Star

.... I wish I was a sentimental ornament you hung on
The Christmas tree, I wish I was the star that went on top.....
